The Multilingualism Education Project (MEP) was launched in 2005 following the approval of the University’s Language Policy and Plan by Senate and Council. The Project is hosted by the Centre for Higher Education Development (CHED).

The Multilingualism Education Project (MEP) isiXhosa and Afrikaans communication skills courses are open for registration for 2020.
Courses run from March to May and from August to October.
